John Knowles, head of national capital markets at Colliers, said: “With the addition of Robert, Jeremy, Niall and William to the team, we are answering the increasing demand we are seeing from clients for creative thinking on funding, particularly in the alternative sectors.
“The current economic backdrop has meant that a certain level of thinking outside of the box is necessary when it comes to creating and implementing strategies and long-term planning. Not only will the team be a valuable addition to our national capital markets team, but to our business as a whole.”
Nelson said: “By joining Colliers we will be able to help our clients with their needs beyond the transactional, capitalising on the firm’s diversity, resource and scale. We are looking forward to getting to know the wider business in the coming months and working alongside them to provide the best opportunities and advice to our collective clients.”
Tony Horrell, chief executive of Colliers UK & Ireland, said: “Bringing CapRE on board is a continuation of our ongoing strategy to build scale with experts who share our culture of collaboration, entrepreneurship and a drive to provide our clients with the best service.”
