Ealing Council has given Tide Construction full planning permission to develop a 462-home co-living scheme in the West London borough.
The scheme, known as The Castle, will be located in the Old Oak and Park Royal Opportunity Area, and will be a co-living community laid out across two towers and 32 storeys.
The HTA Design scheme will provide shared amenities for residents, featuring over 16,000 sq ft of communal spaces across four floors.
This will include lounge areas, dining and co-working spaces, a library, a gym, a cinema and games rooms, cycle parking spaces and a cycle hiring scheme available for residents.
The scheme will be built on the site of The Castle public house, a social hub that dates back to the 1930s but has remained vacant since 2020. A new version of the pub will also be built at the base of one of the towers as part of the project.
Tide will work with its sister company Vision Modular Systems to deliver The Castle.
Tide Construction planning manager Helen McManus said: “This ambitious scheme will play a significant role in the regeneration of the Old Oak and Park Royal Opportunity area.”
