Cluttons hires dev and planning head

Cluttons has appointed Steve Cooper as head of development and planning. Cooper will be responsible for growing the department, with an immediate focus on planning and viability capabilities. He will also work to expand Cluttons’ development management and land agency activities, and in the longer term will look to grow the business’s market share in the build-to-rent and alternative sectors. Cooper was previously head of London land agency at Strutt & Parker and BNP Paribas Real Estate. Prior to this, he was head of UK residential at BNP Paribas Real Estate. James Gray, managing partner at Cluttons, said: “Steve’s appointment is another key element in our long-term growth strategy.
