The City of London Corporation is set to vote in the coming weeks on a new hub for Amazon in one of the capital’s Square Mile car parks.
The corporation resolved to grant Amazon a lease for the use of part of the London Wall car park for a last-mile logistics hub in late 2020.
The corporation now expects to vote on the plans – which would change the use of 41 car parking spaces to provide the hub and the use of an existing layby for HGV deliveries – at a June meeting.
