Changes at health REITs as Brodtman steps in and Barclay steps down
CBRE’s Michael Brodtman has joined the board of Target Healthcare as an independent non-executive director.
Brodtman retired from the firm after 40 years in June 2022, during which he led CBRE’s valuation department and rose to chair of the UK advisory division.
He will also become a non-executive director of Grainger at the start of the new year.

Meanwhile, Impact Healthcare’s non-executive chair Rupert Barclay has announced he will step down at the end of the first quarter of 2023. He has been with Impact since its IPO, growing it to a £543m portfolio of 136 healthcare properties.
Simon Laffin, former chair of Assura, will join the board as a non-executive director and chairman designate on 1 January 2023, stepping up when Barclay leaves around April.
