Chancerygate purchased the 2.1 acre site last August and construction is expected to start towards the end of this year. The first units will be available for occupation at the end of 2020.
Existing occupiers at the Hanworth Lane Industrial Estate include luxury furniture provider Kesterport, railway and civil engineering company Lowery, flooring supplier YTD UK, systems engineering house Drumgrange and industrial after-market parts retailer KM Products Europe.
Matthew Young, Chancerygate development manager, said: “Chertsey Business Park is located in the town’s most central industrial area. It is exactly the type of strategic regional location that we seek to develop to meet an area’s business needs.”
This year, the company is aiming to triple its completed developments compared with the previous year, targeting 1m sq ft across 11 schemes compared with 340,000 sq ft in 2018.
Chancerygate’s asset management team manages £220m of assets across 4.9m sq ft of commercial space, covering more than 350 units.
