Radius Data Exchange: CBRE tops Liverpool agents league for seventh time

CBRE has retained its position at the top of the Liverpool office disposals league table after matching last year’s impressive tally of 96 deals and transacting more than 300,000 sq ft of space. The agent has topped the ranking for seven years.

Worthington Owen maintained its runner-up spot after acting as the sole agent on the city’s largest deal – a 33,000 sq ft letting to Clockwise at the Edward Pavillion on Albert Dock. It was a strong showing for the local specialists, with just two national agents making the top 10.

Overall figures were down by more than 35% on the previous 12 months, although the previous year’s figures were skewed by an anomalous 270,000 sq ft letting to HMRC. As a further consequence of this, average deal size has also dropped.

Co-working has begun to make a major mark in the city, not just with the Clockwise deal: both CBRE and Worthington Owen jointly let 23,000 sq ft to Avenue HQ at No.4 St Paul’s Square.
