CBRE has advised homelessness charity Shelter on signing its new flagship store in Hampstead, NW3.
The store will be the charity’s largest in London and forms part of Shelter’s strategy to expand.
In addition to the Hampstead store, CBRE also advised Shelter on the repossession of a services hub by a large, mixed-use developer as part of its pro bono programme.

In addition to the Hampstead store, CBRE also advised Shelter on the repossession of a services hub by a large, mixed-use developer as part of its pro bono programme.
Earlier this year, CBRE announced an extension of the national charity partnership with Shelter until 2018, making it the most ambitious charity partnership CBRE says it has ever undertaken in the UK.
Originally launched in February 2015 as part of its ‘building a better future’ responsible business plan, pro bono work is an area CBRE says it plans to build upon over the remaining period of the partnership.
Ciaran Bird, UK managing director at CBRE, said: “Our pro bono programme is an important part of our partnership with Shelter. It is a powerful example of how the property sector can make a huge difference while equipping our own teams with experience and skills that are highly valued in our business.”
Campbell Robb, chief executive of Shelter, added: “The retail location strategy completed by CBRE has been really valuable for Shelter. Being on the receiving end of CBRE’s professional services has been hugely impressive and their hard work will allow us to generate even more revenue for Shelter through our retail store network.”
