Castleforge makes Heal’s Building new HQ
Property investor Castleforge is to make the Heal’s Building on Tottenham Court Road, W1, its official headquarters after a revamp of the space.
Castleforge will move into the space after a redesign by design practice MoreySmith, with additional space for its flexible workspace provider Clockwise. Around 60 employees will occupy it.
The Grade II* listed 1840s building, which is separately being prepared for sale by JLL, features retail space to the front which is occupied by Heal’s shopping outlet, and office space to the rear.

MoreySmith redesigned the space using a hybrid working model, including so-called agile desks, a co-working space and separate plug-and-play seating areas.
Matthew Reid, head of development and asset management at Castleforge, said: “The Heal’s Building is an iconic structure in London and MoreySmith has managed to maintain its original interior features while still delivering a contemporary space for our evolving workforce. We are now looking forward to inviting our team back to work and to their new HQ.”
The building will feature a new office entrance area. An entertainment space has also been installed for Castleforge to host events, as well as a library area.
The space underwent four months of internal renovations and has retained the existing features, structure and stairwells in the final design.
