Cargo firm takes remaining space at Heathrow Centre

Worldwide Flight Services has taken an additional 27,000 sq ft of cargo handling space on a five-year lease at SEGRO’s Heathrow Cargo Centre. Following the expansion, WFS occupies a total of 350,000 sq ft space at the airport. Over the past year, WFS has grown its presence at the centre by 30%. The move follows continued expansion of the firm as it aims to add new airline customers to its portfolio, as well as continue to serve the existing 16 international airlines at Heathrow. Gareth Baker, director of Greater London at SEGRO, said: “This deal underlines our long-standing relationship, and is evidence that air cargo volumes and demand for airside cargo assets continue to recover following the pandemic.” The centre is now fully occupied.
