Canmoor and Tristan get nod for phase two of Accelerator Park
Canmoor and Tristan Capital Partners have received planned consent from South Cambridgeshire District Council for the second phase of Accelerator Park in Sawston.
The latest phase comprises 86,000 sq ft of research and development, office and lab space across three buildings. The facilities, designed by Hale Architects, range from 20,000 sq ft to 35,000 sq ft.
The development is targeting BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating, and includes EV charging, PV panels, site-wide biodiversity and zero waste to landfill.

The scheme will also deliver 136 car parking spaces, an onsite café, a private gym and food trucks.
The first phase of Accelerator Park was built in 2019 and comprises 13 buildings totalling 67,931 sq ft. Tenants include Echion Technologies, Pulpex, Biocair and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Canmoor bought the wider site in July 2023. The developer later bought two buildings located at the adjacent Dales Manor Estate, totalling 20,000 sq ft, which are being refurbished with completion expected in Q3 2024.

DTRE and Bidwells have been appointed as joint letting agents on phase two of Accelerator Park and the other vacant units at Dales Manor.
