Can Poland’s answer to Topshop make it on Oxford Street?

Polish fashion brand, Reserved, is ploughing an initial 50m into breaking the UK market.

Billed as Poland’s answer to Topshop, the retailer has signed a $42m 10-year lease for the old BHS flagship store on London’s Oxford Street and hired Kate Moss to draw crowds to the shop.

It enters the UK retail market following the recent departures of US chains American Eagle and Gap-owned Banana Republic, while another US brand, Forever 21 has also been closing stores after setting up shop in 2010.
