Camden approves London Tunnels project
The redevelopment of the Kingsway Tunnels is set to go ahead after Camden Council followed the City of London Corporation in approving the plans.
A unanimous “yes” from Camden’s planning committee means the go-ahead for the project, which will transform the tunnels that run below the capital into a leisure attraction with two exhibition spaces and a bar.
The London Tunnels company, led by Australian banker Angus Murray, has listed in Amsterdam to source capital for the £220m project.
