Cairn Homes appoints new CFO

Irish housebuilder Cairn Homes has appointed Shane Doherty as its new chief financial officer, replacing Tim Kenny in the role. Kenny, who took up the job in 2017, is leaving the business. Doherty will join Cairn in April from recruitment consultant Morgan McKinley, where he has been group chief financial officer since 2018. Michael Stanley, co-founder and chief executive of Cairn, said: “Shane has in-depth experience in senior financial and business leadership roles across a range of sectors and I look forward to working closely with him as we continue to develop and grow the business in the years ahead. “I would also like to thank Tim for the valuable contribution he has made to Cairn and to thank the finance team at Cairn for ensuring a seamless transition.” Doherty’s previous roles also include group CFO at green energy developer Gaelectric Holdings; European finance director at Paddy Power Group; and senior finance leadership roles at Eircom Group.
