Britain ‘open for business’, Starmer tells Davos

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer plans to tell the world’s elite that he wants to reopen Britain to European investment.

Starmer and shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves will meet global finance chiefs including senior executives from Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan and BlackRock during their visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, later today.

Starmer is expected to tell delegates that a Labour government would redraw the Brexit deal, but has ruled out taking Britain back into the EU or the single market.
