Bristol set to give resi-led city centre scheme the go-ahead

Developer Deeley Freed is set to receive planning approval from Bristol City Council for the demolition of the Galleries shopping centre and development of a residential-led mixed-use scheme.

The hybrid planning application proposes development of 450 homes, including a minimum of 20% – or 90 homes – of affordable housing.

It also includes up to 750 purpose-built student accommodation bedspaces.
