Bristol City Council has approved plans from Olympian Homes and Whitbread to replace the 1970s-built Premier Inn at Bristol’s Haymarket with what will be the city’s tallest building.
The pair filed plans to redevelop the site into two towers, one of 28 storeys containing 442 student beds and the other of 18 storeys containing 132 co-living homes, in September 2023.
Of the co-living homes, 20% will be offered at Local Housing Allowance rents.
