Brewin Dolphin pulls out of new Cannon Street office
Wealth manager Brewin Dolphin has dropped plans to move to a new head office overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral, instead opting to sublet the 116,000 sq ft building.
Law firm Dechert is to move into part of the five-storey, neoclassical office building at 25 Cannon Street, EC4 in its place, the investment giant announced this morning.
Dechert will take floors three to five at the building, while the lower floors remain up for grabs.

Brewin Dolphin said it had reevaluated its office space requirements in the wake of the pandemic, and after adopting a new flexible working model.
Subsequently, the company has decided that its current 68,974 sq ft office in Smithfield would accommodate its London workforce.
It said the office at 12 Smithfield Street, EC1, “has the capacity to fulfil its current needs and future growth”.
Brewin Dolphin had been advised by JLL on its move to 25 Cannon Street, which was due to be refurbished ahead of a 2022 move-in.
It signed a 15-year lease at the site back in 2019, with Eversheds Sutherland providing legal advice.
