She said: “Our industry has a vital role to play in the UK economy, in our cities and in our communities, and I am looking forward to working with the BPF’s board and members across the country to continue to deliver the BPF’s vision.”
Hardman said: “The real estate industry has never been more important, not only to the national economy, but to the fabric of our society. I am looking forward to working with the rest of the board and BPF members to ensure we continue to play our part in driving growth across the country.”
Melanie Leech, chief executive of the British Property Federation, said: “Our AGM and Jo’s appointment comes at an important time for the real estate industry, as we seek a new partnership with the next government across our four manifesto pillars of building growth, homes, stronger town centres and the green economy.”
