The Office Group has completed a deal to lease all of Douglas House in Fitzrovia, W1, to BP.
The energy giant is to set up an innovation hub in the 50,000 sq ft building, which has been designed by TOG to provide 700 desks, a gym, barista bar, roof garden and event space.
The building, which will be open from November, will eventually house around 1,000 employees within BP’s venturing, digital and mobility futures’ teams.

BP will also have access to TOG’s other co-working spaces, meeting rooms and event spaces across its 45-strong building portfolio.
“As we reinvent BP to become more agile and digitally focused, we’re also looking at the ways in which we work,” said Oli Beavon, director of workplace modernisation at BP.
“The new TOG innovation hub will bring together technology and innovation-focused teams which are currently spread across different London locations. It will provide adaptable, collaborative and digitally enabled workspaces and allow teams to either work flexibly or collaborate with one another in the same location to encourage creativity and innovation.”
TOG co-founder and co-chief executive Olly Olsen added: “This partnership approach with BP is very much a reflection of the way global business workplace strategies and the market are moving, and a change we’re already embracing. BP has recognised that the future of the workplace and the way their people will work will be more agile than ever.”
