BlackRock and Graftongate bag tenants for Heathrow Logistics Park
The joint venture between BlackRock and developer Graftongate has fully let its Heathrow Logistics Park scheme, after securing letting deals with Royal Mail and freight firm JAS Forwarding.
Royal Mail has agreed a five-year lease at Unit 3, a 91,349 sq ft warehouse on Bedfont Road near Heathrow Cargo Terminal.
The jv said the leasing deal completed within weeks of Royal Mail viewing the new building, which is expected to be operational before Christmas this year.

Logistics provider JAS Forwarding has taken a 15-year lease on Unit 1, a 109,000 sq ft warehouse.
The new facility will double the company’s capacity at Heathrow, and is located close to its existing UK headquarters.
Heathrow Logistics Park comprises four warehouses with office space, all of which were developed speculatively.
The other two tenants are Airbase GSE and James Cargo Services.
Colin Beasley, director at Graftongate, said the jv is “keen to find new opportunities for development” now that Heathrow Logistics Park is fully let.
BlackRock was advised by the scheme’s retained agents Altus Group, DTRE and JLL. Arnold Cronin represented JAS Forwarding.
