BL to create London’s largest city park

British Land has submitted plans to create a new park within its £1.5bn development of Broadgate, EC3. The park, which will extend to 64,500sq ft, will be the largest pedestrianised neighbourhood in central London, according to the developer. British Land will redevelop the Exchange Square site by Liverpool Street Station into the public park, which will also include restaurant and event space as well as a water feature.
