Berkeley submits plans for £200m Birmingham Eastside Locks

Berkeley’s St Joseph subsidiary has submitted plans for 769 homes at its Eastside Locks development adjacent to the proposed HS2 station.

The £200m development seeks to deliver the residential element in a 37-storey tower, with 20,600 sq ft of commercial space in buildings up to 18 storeys, a 5,200 sq ft gym and public realm.

It also proposes demolition of a Second World War “pill box” and part of the former Belmont Glassworks.
