A purpose-built radio station in Shoreham Street, Sheffield, which is let to the BBC until 2029, may appeal to buyers looking for a long-term investment.
It goes under the hammer at Allsop’s commercial auction at the Park Lane hotel, W1, on 17 May, guided at £2.4m-£2.6m.
Auctioneer George Walker said: “It’s an undoubted covenant. It produces £166,000 pa, with two fixed uplifts to £213,000 pa in 2019, which is exactly what investors want – rental growth.”
