Balfour Beatty launches £150m share buyback

Construction group Balfour Beatty is set to return capital to shareholders through a £150m share buyback programme.

The company has appointed its corporate brokers to buy back up to 63,940,526 of its shares between now and the end of the year.

Balfour Beatty said the buyback price would be no higher than 105% of the average middle-market closing price over the five days prior to each purchase.
