Avant Homes acquires Earl’s Park site

Avant Homes has acquired a 28-acre site in Holmewood, Derbyshire, to deliver 247 homes with a GDV of £60m. The Earl’s Park site received planning permission in December 2022, and will comprise a mix of  homes showcasing 13 of Avant Homes’ design-led house types. Of the 247 homes, 20% will be affordable. Chris Coley, central managing director at Avant Homes, said: “As a Chesterfield-based business, Earl’s Park is an exciting opportunity to further expand our property portfolio close to our headquarters. “We know there is still strong demand for high-quality new build homes among a wide range of buyers in the region. With the site’s close proximity to the M1 and Chesterfield town centre, we anticipate Earl’s Park will be an attractive option for prospective purchasers looking to move within the area.” The first homes on the site are slated to be ready for occupation in September, with a show home expected to open this summer.
