Argent Related has hired a leasing director from Savills to help bring in office tenants for its 180-acre redevelopment in Brent Cross town centre.
Piers Nickalls will join Argent Related in April as office leasing lead for the Brent Cross South project, NW4. The mixed-use development includes 3m sq ft of commercial space as well as 6,700 homes.
Nickalls spent 23 years at Savills, during which time he worked as part of the leasing teams for projects including Chiswick Park, Wembley Park and Ruskin Square in Croydon.

The £4.5bn regeneration of Brent Cross also includes the redevelopment of Brent Cross Shopping Centre by Hammerson and Aberdeen Standard Investments, as well as a new Thameslink station, Brent Cross West.
Last year, Barnet Council altered the timetable for the project, allowing Argent Related to start on site this year while Hammerson and ASI review plans for the extension of the shopping centre, which they had put on hold in mid-2018 citing “turbulence” in the UK retail markets
At the time of the re-phasing, Nick Searl, a partner at Argent Related Partner and joint chief executive of the Brent Cross South project, told EG: “We’ve had to go through a process with Barnet Council primarily to look at how Brent Cross South and the new Thameslink station can row their own boat and we’ve come to an agreement with all parties to achieve that.
“The shopping centre will come forward in its own way and in its own time but we are able to get on and do all the things we want to do on the southern side of the north circular.”
