High street retailers suffered another poor month in April despite warmer weather, figures from BDO show.
Sales were down 0.4% on April last year, according to the accountancy firm’s high street sales tracker.
They have fallen for three consecutive months, as retailers struggle with falling footfall and muted consumer confidence.
