Amazon takes tougher stance on office-refusers

Amazon is taking a tougher stance to get staff back to the office, by blocking promotions of those who do not adhere to its hybrid working policy.

The retail and tech group has started tracking the attendance of its UK-based office workers, to ensure that staff are in the office at least three days a week.

It has 75,000 corporate and operations employees in the UK, with large offices in London and Manchester.
