Alvarium hires new chief investment officer

London-based wealth manager Alvarium Investments has appointed Nancy Curtin as its new group chief investment officer, partner and head of investment advisory.

Curtin will also join the family office’s operational and executive boards. She joins from Close Brothers Asset Management, where she worked for nearly 10 years as chief investment officer and head of investments.

Before her role at Close Brothers, Curtin was managing partner and chief investment officer at hedge fund Fortune Asset Management from 2002 to 2010.
