MIPIM 2018: Plans have been unveiled for a £75m redevelopment of the former home of the Belfast Telegraph newspaper.
The scheme being delivered by McAleer & Rushe and Belfast City council will provide 230,000 sq ft of commercial space with retail, restaurants and cafés on the ground floor accessible by a pedestrian route through the building.
Designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, the 19th century building is located adjacent to the Ulster University Campus and Central Library and will be known as The Sixth after the evening edition of the newspaper, which street vendors touted as the “Sixth Late Tele”.
