197-bed hotel tipped for approval despite Peel’s objections

Plans for a 197-bed hotel to be built near Manchester’s Trafford Centre are set to be given the green light by Trafford Council, despite objections made by Peel Land & Property.

Create Developments revealed plans earlier this year to build a nine-storey hotel and a 127-space car park next to the 120-apartment tower block, Circle Court, and half a mile away from Trafford Park and the Trafford Centre.

At its highest point, the hotel would be 33.5m high. However, the hotel has faced criticism from Peel and intu (up until its administration in June).
