Hounslow Council has approved Catalyst and Redrow Homes’ plans for Capital Interchange Way.

Catalyst’s subsidiary Catalyst by Design and Redrow Homes formed a 50:50 jv in 2018 to deliver the £180m development. Redrow will manage the construction.
In 2016, a proposal for 550 homes in blocks of up to 20 storeys from Facilitas Technical Engineering Services was refused. Two years later, the council rejected L&Q’s plans for 427 on the nearby Citroen site, also on Capital Interchange Way. Sadiq Khan called the plans in, but has yet to make a decision on the scheme.
The region is not allocated within the 2015 Hounslow Local Plan. However, it has been included in the upcoming Local Plan review. It has been identified in the London Plan as potential Opportunity Area for employment and housing growth, and a “Strategic Outer London Development Centre” due to the digital and media economic strengths.
