Foyles launches later living libraries

Bookseller Foyles has partnered with later living developer Elysian Residences to provide libraries in its developments in London and the South East. The Elysian libraries will be curated and maintained by Foyles and will include access to foreign language books, music and DVDs. It is the first time that Foyles has agreed to curate private libraries in partnership with a residential developer. [caption id="attachment_992909" align="aligncenter" width="847"] The Landsby[/caption] The first library is being built at the 101-home scheme the Landsby on Merrion Avenue in Stanmore and is expected to open in late 2019. The 1,675 sq ft library will feature a central limestone fireplace surrounded by 8ft high library shelving with communal reading space. Future schemes to include a Foyles library include the Oren on West Heath Road.
