Slade exits Helical on a high
Helical reported positive results with a slew of lettings in London on the day that Mike Slade stepped down from the board.
It recorded 11 new lettings at five London assets, representing 100,943 sq ft with rents of £7.2m, for the period 1 April to 10 July.
The rents were 5% above ERV at 31 March.

Helical also completed three new lettings at Churchgate & Lee in Manchester to Capita Business Services, representing 35,111 sq ft, in line with March ERV. Also in Manchester, it also reported two new lettings comprising 4,524 sq ft at Fourways House, 12.7% above the previous ERV.
During the period it also acquired 195,000 sq ft at 33 Charterhouse Street, EC1, in a 50:50 joint venture with Ashby Capital.
