intu has appointed Dushyant Sangar as its chief investment officer.
Sangar has been corporate development director at shopping centre landlord intu, and a member of the executive committee, since 2014.
In this role he has been responsible for reshaping intu’s strategic portfolio and sourcing and building relationships with intu’s capital partners, including CPPIB, Nuveen and LaSalle. He joined intu in 2010.
Chief executive Matthew Roberts said: “A key strategic objective for us is making smart use of capital, which includes reducing leverage and prioritising investment that furthers our winning destination strategy.
“Dushyant will be key in delivering disciplined capital allocation across the business, and I very much look forward to working with him.”
