Rob Bould elected LandAid’s new chair

Rob Bould has been elected chair of the board of trustees for industry charity LandAid. Bould, the founder of Bould Consulting and the former chief executive of GVA, replaces Liz Peace, who is stepping down after three years leading the charity. He was previously vice-chair and been a member of LandAid’s Board of Trustees for over nine years and a supporter of the charity since its foundation in 1986. His tenure formally kicks off on 1 April. LandAid is focused on working with the industry to end youth homelessness and last year its 16 staff helped raised over £3m. In the past two years it has helped deliver over 400 of its 450-bedspace target that it set in 2017. Owned and managed by City YMCA (London), LandAid House will provide 146 affordable homes for young homeless Londoners. Bould said: “My enthusiasm for LandAid is undiminished even after several decades of involvement. The changes that we are witnessing in society and the property industry make the charity even more relevant today than when I first became involved.
