Westfield London to open new events venue
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is partnering with Broadwick Venues to open a new 3,000-capacity events space next to its Westfield London shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush.
The 34,000 sq ft venue, called Exhibition London, will bring the Grade II-listed Dimco East building near the complex into public use for the first time.

The heritage site, which featured in the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, was latterly used as a bus garage as part of TfL’s White City bus station.
Live music events, brand experiences, product launches, exhibitions, conferences, award ceremonies and community events will be held within the space.
The two-floor venue will also feature “adaptable relaxation areas” and host food and beverage vendors.

Broadwick Venues, which operates Printworks London and is a subsidiary of festival business Broadwick Live, will manage the site and oversee the majority of its music offer.
Works on the site, set to launch at the end of the year, will begin this month.
Bradley Thompson, managing director of Broadwick Live, said: “Exhibition London represents an important moment in the evolution of Westfield London, creating a unique entertainment hub and enhancing the area’s cultural kudos.”
Amy Lamé, London’s night czar, added: “London’s night-time culture is the most diverse in the world, and our night-time economy is growing faster than the wider economy.
“The great range of entertainment venues in the capital play a vital role in this vibrant nightlife, so I’m delighted to see this historic location turned into a brand new venue for arts, music and cultural events.”
