Some 77 of the apartments had buyers off-plan before the original developer, ESRG St Annes Limited, fell into administration. Creditors appointed insolvency practitioners SFP in May, and the project was put on hold for safety and security purposes.
Mark Birks, regional senior director at GVA, said: “Digbeth is set to benefit from considerable investment in infrastructure, and the scheme’s proximity to the proposed HS2 hub and metro extension will be of significant benefit to residents, and as such we’re anticipating high levels of interest in the site.”
Birks said the area has become a property hotspot, particularly popular with young professionals and first-time buyers, as well as investors taking advantage of good rental yields.
