Colony Capital and Jonny Ronan’s Ronan Group Real Estate have bought a prime Dublin development site in the city’s docklands for more than €180m (£158.8m).
The NAMA-controlled 4.6-acre site is part of Project Waterfront, adjacent to the 3 Arena, and has planning consent for four office buildings totalling 300,216 sq ft and two residential buildings totalling 420 flats.
Colony and Ronan have been steadily been building a dominant presence in the burgeoning docks area, home to tech firms including Google and Facebook, with the duo developing the nearby Spencer Dock which is close to being let in its entirety to Salesforce.
