EG etc: T&H scales new heights to take on cancer
Sara Bailey, head of real estate at Trowers & Hamlins and an ambassador for World Child Cancer, is hosting a charity dinner and auction at the firm’s headquarters at Bunhill Row on 11 October.
Bailey is looking to raise £100,000 to support the work of World Child Cancer, which gives more children a faster route to better treatment. It builds on the challenging fundraising trek that Bailey completed in April, which saw her, together with a small group of people from across the industry, climb Jebel Toubkal, Morocco’s highest mountain.
Bailey said it was the hardest thing she had ever done but felt it was completely worth it after seeing the difference that quick treatment and effective support could make for children battling cancer.
