Former CBRE senior director Andrew Screen has joined Cortland Partners as its UK chief investment officer.
Screen will lead the development and finance team of the US operator which made its first move into the UK market earlier this year, announcing an intention to invest £4bn and build 10,000 homes.
Screen spent five years at GVA before joining CBRE in 2016 as a senior director specialising in build to rent. While there, he was the lead adviser in Cortland’s acquisition of Orion Land & Leisure and orchestrated the company’s entry into the UK rental market.
