Colliers hires from CBRE for EMEA occupier services

Colliers International has hired Andrew Hallissey from CBRE in London and created a new role for him. Hallissey will join as executive managing director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) occupier services, a position which previously did not exist at the firm. He will be responsible for strategy, client service delivery and spearheading the growth of the company’s occupier business in the region. Chris McLernon, Colliers’ EMEA chief executive, said: “[This] is an important step in the growth of our occupier services business across EMEA and beyond. [It] will help us assist an increasing number of major corporate occupiers looking to partner with a trusted adviser who can drive real value from their real estate strategy and innovate their workplace experience.” Previously, Hallissey held senior leadership roles within CBRE’s global workplace solutions business in Chicago, Hong Kong, New York and London. He serves on the global board of directors of Corenet, the leading global association for the corporate real estate profession.
