Bigger individual deals helped propel Hughes Ellard back to the top of the M27 office agents league table this year.
Increasing its disposals by 35% to 202,019 sq ft in the 12 months to August 2017, the agent claimed the most deals (39) and, acting jointly with Vail Williams, the largest deal – the 54,136 sq ft letting to Babcock International Group at Lakeside North Harbour.
Overall, the average deal size increased marginally for the fourth year running to 3,453 sq ft, while take-up fell by 7% to 483,500 sq ft.
