Housebuilder Persimmon has posted a 12% increase in its revenue for the first half of the year, with new home sales rising by 8%.
The company’s trading performance over the period has been “excellent,” according to a trading update issued today.
Persimmon reported increased completions to 7,794 new homes, compared with 7,238 at the same point last year. Average selling prices improved by 3.5% to around £213,000, leading to a 12% boost in revenues to £1.6bn.
