Southampton University to sell two sites
Southampton University is selling two student accommodation sites with a potential GDV of £15m.
The two sites occupy a total of three acres and currently have students halls on them.
Carter Jonas is marketing the sites as a redevelopment opportunity for the halls.

The two sites occupy a total of three acres and currently have students halls on them.
Carter Jonas is marketing the sites as a redevelopment opportunity for the halls.
Ryan Harris, associate planner, Winchester, at Carter Jonas, said: “The two sites present an opportunity for a development partner to take on a project within one of the largest commercial and residential hubs in the South East, which will enhance the surrounding local area.”
Bencraft Halls is 2.3 acres in size and houses three purpose-built accommodation blocks, offering 16 studio and 217 single study rooms. Vacant possession is set for July 2017.
St Margaret’s House is 0.9 acres in size and houses a a purpose-built student housing block of 15 studios and 84 single study units, with vacant possession set for September 2017.
