Equinox takes to the Stage

Equinox is opening a gym at the Stage in Shoreditch, EC2. The gym operator has agreed a deal to take 31,000 sq ft which is scheduled to open alongside the completion of the development in early 2019. It will be its second site in the capital after Equinox Kensington, SW7. It has also previously announced that it will open in St James’s, W1. Gentry Long, Equinox’s managing director of operations in the UK, said: “Equinox Shoreditch, situated in a diverse neighbourhood with a unique mix of elevated lifestyle and culture, will serve as an excellent complement to our existing location in Kensington. We saw great demand in the area for all that Equinox has to offer and we are excited to bring Equinox’s unparalleled mix of substance and style to Shoreditch.” Residents of the Stage’s 412 flats, whether owner-occupiers or tenants, will be entitled to three years’ free membership per flat.
