Property figures acknowledged in honours list

David Murray, the property tycoon and Rangers FC owner, is one of a number of leading UK property figures to be recognised in the New Year’s honours list. Murray has been knighted for services to business in Scotland. Peter Rogers, director at Stanhope, has been made a CBE, as has Edward Tuppen, the chief executive of Enterprise Inns. Rupert Nabarro, the founder of the Investment Property Databank, has been made an OBE.
