Sovereign Centros secures tenants for Merry Hill

Sovereign Centros has signed Costa and Bensons for Beds, alongside B&M Bargains and Matalan renewing at the lower retail park of Merry Hill shopping centre in the West Midlands. Costa has leased 2,800 sq ft at the centre, while Bensons for Beds has taken 8,000 sq ft. Both have signed 10-year leases and are set to open their stores in the second half of this year. Existing tenants B&M Bargains and Matalan have renewed their leases for 10 years. They let a combined 68,000 sq ft. Nick Round, senior asset manager at Sovereign Centros, said: “The retail park is a vital part of Merry Hill, offering a wider variety of shopping options and experiences from top brands, so these recent additions are a big step toward fully utilising the retail park’s potential.” JLL, Time Retail Partners and Font Real Estate represent Merry Hill.
