Consultation launched for next phase of Tees Valley retail park

Northumberland Estates has launched a consultation for a retail-led second phase of its development at Wynyard Park in the Tees Valley.

The new plans include the addition of retail and commercial floorspace, which the developer said would generate around 155 jobs outside of construction-related employment and should encourage a £10m investment into the local area.

The proposed site is to the south of land that has planning permission for a new Sainsbury’s store, two drive-through units and additional trade counter floorspace. That phase of development is set to be completed by the summer of 2025.
